loud clicking noise?

im having a problem when i left off the gas their a really loud clicking on my front drivers side wheel well.... and once b4 the cv bearings fell out and the boot had ripped ....and i had enevr replaced it my car has been sitting for a while.....and its a really loud clicking noise..do u think i need to get a new cv axle...or what do u guys think it is help me out!!!!!

Yeah cv joints. damn things. Do it yourself! it's not that bad if its your first time doing it. and it will save you about 140$ in labor
