if you want to insulate better, take off the shield and use header wrap. it works

Header wrap seals the heat in, which can cause your manifold/header to crack. I wouldn't recommend it, but if you do it, leave gaps so that some heat can escape, I heard somewhere that can help.

no you dont have to tell me...i was just confused as to why you would hide if you put header wrap on...like you should be ashamed if you do it or something.
