now there is still one more question i have. Im getting a code 1 along with the 43 so that means with out a dought that i need a new o2 right?

sorry if im asking you all to hold my hand through this i just dont want to order the wrong part and have it not fix the problem
Try the FPR first since we KNOW it's having issues, then report back after that.

Don't loose the o ring on the back of the FPR.

I disagree with your mechanic's assessment. From what I know, and the following video, not having cooling for those valves would only cause a high idle, not a low idle. It is possible that the steam and liquid from the prior leak caused the EACV to fail, or the steam is somehow getting into your intake and causing issues there (water in A/F mixture == bad), but unless you have a largish vacuum leak, that air should all come from your filter, which should be clean air.

Check the EACV for proper function; check the resistance to make sure the motor doesn't have a broken circuit, and clean it with some TB/carb/choke cleaner if it looks very carbon-gunked-up. You could pick one or two up from the JY; I get them from my local yard for $4 a piece by answering their "what are these?" questions with "oh, they're just simple air valves for the intake."

EACV stands for Electronic Air Control Valve, also called the IACV, or IAC, or IAV, etc. It's the only valve on your plenum (the big hollow bulbous looking piece of your intake, right after your throttle body, but before your runners which mount to the engine cylinder head), that has an electronic connection.

Thanks Deev; I do what I can.

Also for the idle take the cap off the blue circled item and make sure the diaphram is not coming unscrewed.

its good still low idle. Im now getting code 1 and 43. im going to replace the FPR and go from there.

Did you ever bleed the coolant after fixing the FITV coolant leak?

An erratic idle can be caused by air in the coolant system, seeing as how there was a leak and then a repair, I was curious.

now i have a new problem. i reset the ecu and now when i go to accel at about 3k rpm it will not go any faster. i step harder on the gas and the trans will down shift but its like i have no power and the rpm will just stay there. i put it in neutral and reved it and it would do the same thing but at a higher rpm. also if i press the gas down further i hear some muffled popping under the hood.
