Weird dome light quirk..

So I ran out to my car to grab something last night, and open the door to find that the only light that comes on is the one in the door itself.. Hmm

I have installed a cd5 map light, and when I clicked the button they come on( dome worked properly after install)

And the dome light comes on if I flip it to "on" instead of the "door" mode

Any help?
I tested all the doors and the same thing happens on each..

I would say it is faulty contact on dome light switch up there. Remove it and clean the contacts, see it helps.
