No matter how much I retard my ignition timing (all the way towards me) it's still advanced at approx 20-21 BTDC. Worse is that before I caught this it was even more advanced. Didn't notice any pinging or detonation. I'm also getting very lean conditions and have been investigating this. What do you guys think is out of wack on the timing side? Camshaft, crank? I'm going in for a timing job thankfully soon. Any insight appreciated.

Today I took my time rotated the engine found the appropriate markings 15 with the 3 notches and put white out on them to see them better.
Last time around when I set the ignition timing I don't know what the hell I was looking at. Must of been stoned out of my mind. -
