    93 oil pressure sending unit

    Just making sure...the oil pressure sending unit is right above the oil filter on a 93 honda accord right?

    How do you remove it and how would I install the sending unit that came with my gauge?

    There was like 10 others but my hands are getting tired all this copy/paste...here's how I found them. I know this secret backdoor to this site, wehre you can search for stuff thats been posted before! you know ur all jealous!

      Yes, the oil pressure sending unit is above the oil filter. Do an oil change while you're going to attack this, it's easier to get to the sending unit if you remove the oil filter (hence, why I suggest doing an oil change at this time). So you pull off the electrical connector of the sending unit, then find correct socket and remove it. When installing the new one, put some liquid teflon on the threads, then using a wratchet & socket, snug it up, it will feel like you bottomed out on it. This is because it's a tapered pipe thread. Then you get your torque wrench and torque it to 13 lb-ft. Clip the electrical connector back on and continue with your oil chang and your done.

        ok thanks alot...i tried pullin on the wire b4 but i couldnt get it off...any suggestions?
