    Seafoaming my car

So i know this has been asked a thousand times and i can tell you this is not a how you do it post but a should i do it?

My car has 330K miles on it and i have this fear that if i sea foam it through the brake booster its going to mess it up and somehow kill the car. Someone told that when it cleans the carbon it may not have good compression and oil leaks because the carbon itself is plugging the holes.

My questions is how safe is it to seafoam my car through the brake boost?

I just seafoamed my 266k mile car and nothing went wrong. I even flooded and the engine died. It then started right up and I let the smoke show happen by driving it around in my neighborhood.

If your car has over 250,000 miles on it i wouldn't do it. I had a 300k car with 2 broken valves and HORRIBLE idle and did it through the pcv valve. it made it run worse.

You may want to try Marvel Mystery Oil over Seafoam because its less caustic.

I don't know for sure if doing it in your case would be bad or good.

What are you trying to get out of using seafoam? That's a good question. If everything's running fine why run the risk of messing it up? I'd say if you had problems then go ahead but if not then the risk isn't worth it.

I seafoamed my cb7 as an antidote for a serious problem.

He had valve issues ofcourse it wouldn't fix that, it's ment to clean up gunk/build up not mysteriously fix a bent, cracked, or burnt valve.

Personally i've never seen a use for it aslong as you keep up with maintenance you will be fine.

I'm an avid user of Seafoam, and have been for quite some time. Using it will clean the combustion chambers, and any carbon build ups. If your car runs perfectly fine right now, I doubt theres any serious build up that is plugging any holes or anything of that nature. I doubt cleaning it will cause issues. Lately, this is what I've been using:
