no, its a fairly small unit with vacuum line attached to it. it fits snugly between the battery and the inner fender right behind the corner lense.

i thought it has something to do with the w/s washer system but want to double check.

after closer examination it does appear to be connected somewhat to the air intake pipe that comes into the engine bay from in front of the passenger wheel.

It controls a butterfly inside the stock intake box, if you don't have the stock intake, you can remove it.

not exactly....doing a dull grey on the bay itself....thinking of going copper on the short ram, heat shield, and strut bar. definitely gonna high heat white the valve cover and sharpie it.

So would it effect fuel efficiency? How could you test to see if it's working right?
                          Thanks.

                            Also curious about this ^^

So these two are connected by air hoses and theres also a wire harness that clips to the first one. im assuming for power to the unit only.

                            Delete all this?

                            C-3PO's MRT USDM yo!

then i see my baby, suddenly I'm not crazy,

If you're running an aftermarket intake, yes.
