Yes it is power steering related aswell as tran's, definitely not coolant.

As far as timing any manual should have that timing procedure there are marks on the pully aswell as under the timing covers. This should be all you need...

When you have the tranny on take off your vc and put the cam gear at tdc, then mark the flywheel through the timing hole with a white/silver rmarker. That way you can have it marked at tdc when you adjust the timing. That's what I did when I bought my boya tranny.

Thanks a bunch. does it have to be white or silver? Don't have white or silver sharpies. And btw I would like to know what the correct amount of fluid is for the torque converter. I heard 1 qt but the thing is I ended up spilling some of it, probably half. Should I take it off an MAKE SURE it is full again? Just taking it off though you will spill more of it (which I actually did). O and I only have 3 qts of honda fluid too.

This transmission works awesome, I would say almost too good. The installation was a success and the deal I got from JdmEngineDepot was very much worth it.

It shifts like a dream, feels almost brand new. They really are "low-mileage" units they sell.

Can anyone confirm the gear ratio's on the JDM F series transmissions?

Reason i asked is i had seen one of the OP's "Dig" video's it seem's whatever trans he got is a bit shorter than the USDM's gearing. OP what's the transmissions code?
