High Idle, Shaft nut loose on TB.

Recently I bought another CB and finally got it running.

When I first started it I had a high Idle of 2k+ rpm. I had tried everything I

could to lower it down. Nothing would work, had to take it to a shop and the

mechanic there had no clue what it could have been. He suggested to check

the timing, which I did and everything was set. At this point i had no clue what

to do. I Traced back my steps when i was doing the swap(f22a) I had swapped

out TB for one with a non broken TPS sensor on it. After that i had to change

the rotor on it since it was from a 5spd so i added the Auto rotor on it.

A few days ago i read online someone in a bb4 had the same high idle problem

and turned out the shaft nut on the tb was loose. I went ahead tightened mine

up turned on the car and BAM! idle was at 1500RPM. Left it to warm up and

dropped to 800 RPM after that.

Crazy how one simple little thing had my idle so high.

Yes I know this is HELLA random post but,has anyone else had this happen to them?

I don't have an idle issue but are you referring to the 2 screws going across the throttle body with the air inlet off?
    Thanks.
