Do I need the Downpipe with Aem Headers?

I found some very nice Aem Headers at the Junkyard today, I hid them and plan on going back to pick them up, will the Headers bolt up to my Oem Downpipe? They both have the same 4 to 2 design but I want to know do I need the Downpipe with the headers? Will there be a better performance output with the Aem Downpipe?

      dido.

But Op, just check the size of the piping and if its larger than you will have a increase in performance. Also check the flange on the end and see if it matches up to your pipe. Obviously if you have small muffler piping running to the back of your car this may be a bottleneck no matter what header you are using. Most who get a DC sports header and downpipe also increase the rest of the exhaust to match the downpipe size so there is no bottleneck. Hope this helps.
