You need to clean your egr/tune up/ new cat.

Fix your spark plug tube seals (lowers and uppers), then fix your idle, its way too high at 1300rpms.

does she run like a dream lol. have you tryed to smoged again ? i say your cat plus tune up ,air filter , oil ,oil filter , spark plugs , spark plug wires , cap and rotor , pcv , and a good egr / egr ports clean and test.

So you removed the rocker assembly and took out those 4 O-rings underneath there and replaced them with new ones? Its not as simple as removing the valve cover and popping those seals, the other guy was talking about the lower tube seals, takes about 30-45 min to do.

I dont know why your oil light would cause you to fail emmissions I doubt this to be the case. Personally I would make sure that you have the proper measures to check the problem out. Definitely check into changing the oil pressure switch to make sure that things are in spec.

If it stays on change the oil and oil filter. If the problem does not go away you either probably didnt add enough oil or ran it too low. If the problem still persists it could be the oil pump. I would have definitely given my car a tune up and make sure that there are no check engine lights just to make sure. I would make sure that the bulb on the check engine light works.

its running better then ever now lol, no jumping up in idle at all, no oil light since i replaced the spark plug seals and no oil on them either. put a new egr valve in it aswell, wednesday its going back and if it fails(gurantee it will) the problem will be found and fixed at the shop. But im realling thinking its the cat.

make sure and do it on fresh oil , spark plugs and wires ,cap / rotor , air filter . these are perty cheep butt will help have a fighting chance . old oil can cause emission's to rise along with oil filter or a dirty air filter ask wed3k its true .

like how fresh to one fresh is like 6,k to me is like less than a 30 miles , thats what im trying to get at , but if you have a bad pcv you will fail smog . just try the stuff that has been given because there aint a hole lot more that will cause this with out going into big stuff .

ok what about the plugs? are you useing oem air filter with houseing or a after market are filter with oem houseing or a cold air intake?

there not to bad either gonna put new ones in, and im running a short ram intake with aftermarket filter.

i would not do that as aftermarket air filters sound nice the short ram is bad it will suck in engine heat thus bad gas mileage . a cold air might be ok but they are know to suck up water or so i have been told . so my advice is stick with stock unless your doing a full built motor.
