Honda OS Piston Rings

Hey guys. I just got these 0.50 OS piston rings off ebay but i'm kinda confused as to which one is the top ring and which is the 2nd ring.

Stamped on one, it says "T", and the other says "T2".

My guess is that the one which says "T2" is the 2nd ring and the "T" one is the top ring.


I'm probably right but I want to be 100% positive.

Yeah, these are OEM rings. Anyone have a clue?

I don't think so but one of them has a larger gap than the other. The "T2" ring has a larger gap.

The T2 ring is black and the T ring is kind of brownish black.


I'm thinking the T2 ring with the larger gap is the second ring because I had these sealedpower rings whos second ring had a bigger gap than the first.

It makes sense that its stamped "T2" if its the second ring. Its like its saying "2nd from TOP ring". So "T" must mean "TOP ring".


Would like to be absolutely sure though.

no im not sure but judging from the info you're providing me then yes, id assume it would work.
