    Upper Shift Linkage Cover Problem

Hey guys, I have a 1990 accord 5-spd with the factory F22A1 and transmission. This weekend I did my clutch. I replaced the factory mess with a Stage 2 ACT and a Chromoly Flywheel. Upon disconnecting the transmission I removed a lot of things and disconnected a lot of things and some of those things include: the shift linkage top cover, the shifter cables' cotter pins to remove them and the bracket that holds them down. I have reassembled everything but i ran out of time on Saturday and had to push him out of the shop till today so i can finish it tonite after work. The trans is currently empty and needs to be refilled however the shifter wont budge in either direction not even side to side to confirm nuetral. It is rock solid like its welded in place and I'm scared now cuz I feel like I really messed something up bad. I tried searching for this answer but to be honest I have no idea how to even search for it. I've tried a couple different keywords but they bring up topics that dont help me at all.

Number 6 in this picture is the cover I removed in an attempt to avoid having to bleed the clutch after.

And here is all the pieces of the puzzle that go with this cover, under and above. I ultimately just want to drive my car again its been down for sooo long and im soo close now. As an absolute last resort i will bring it to a trans shop but i dont have the resources to pay for that kinda work so any ideas I can try to do on my own will be EXTREMELY Appreciated!!

Did you use a manual to do this? Did you use a torque wrench for what needs to be torqued, if not maybe something was overtorqued? I'm not sure as I've yet to do this myself but I'm trying to eliminate some simple mistakes.

oh and you need to use liquid gasket maker on that cover you removed so it doesn't leak fluid all over.
