wanna put a sunroof on my lx ??????

like the title states, how can it be done, body shop or a long diy, any ideas anyone, cuz my girl has been wanting a car with a sunroof and since we share the cb7 and i dont wanna buy an ex or se i already love the lx too much, so I wanted to do this before her birthday on 4-18, so can anyone help me i know a little bout body work but is it gonna be too much of a hassle unless i get it done at a shop, please help, and thanks in advanced for the replys

save yourself the headache, and from wearing a wetsuit inside the car and just have it done professionally.

a friend of mine had it done to his 98 EX accord(didn't have the sunroof option). anyways, i believe he paid about $800 but it was powered, and it also included fabrication of the headliner.

NOOOO, don't even fuck with it dude. If you want a sunroof, buy an EX. Aftermarket sunroofs leak like a bitch, trust me they all suck.

-All EX's come standard with sunroof.
Also, i called a shop around here they told they can put a motorized
OEM sunroof on my LX for only $600. But if i bring the glass, sunroof
motor and, wire harness from a EX, they can do it for $400.

thats a good price, but with all the parts basically to do it dont you just need to cut and support after that. 400 for that. i guess if you arent down to tackle it yourself....i saw a 90 and a 91 sunroof on ebay lately both were like supre low prices and didnt have anyh bids on them. might be a place to start if youve tapped out your local junk yard.

This is not a DIY type deal. If you have to ask how hard it would be, you can't do it. Very tricky to do right. Leaks, rattles, and headliner issues may be in store if it isn't a perfect install.

plus get it done by a shop its warrentied.
