Since my car has been wrecked for a year and I want to reuse my HIDs, is there any way to clean them for reuse?

Why are they dirty? Use some rubbing alcohol and a tissue I'd say -

I only ask because they have been in the wrecked car for a year, one of them exposed to the elements because of the broken headlight, and it has some build up of film and dirt on it.
