Today i noticed my gears well 1st 3rd and 5th felt spongey. My home depot short shofter has hindered useless. I dont feel resistence within the gears. Did something go loose or is there somewhere i can adjust the shifter cable. I messed around with shifter cable inside the car but no change. Any other places i should check?

check the bushings on the tranny. corsport makes solid bushings -
this isnt right? this is what i think to be the problem. i believe im missing a c clip like the other shifter cable. i assume this cable keeps coming out of the bracket? yes? no? try again?
