    Thats why its best to line the engine at tdc then disributor install is simply done by turning the key until the lines on it line up. Im mean it only takes seconds to set the balancer to the tdc mark anyways.

    The video posted by th Op has a issue where the engine is backfiring through the intake or firing while the intake valve is still open. As already posted check the cam timing of the engine, plug wire orientation,

    Ive personally on my first Crx at my first timing attempt ever, I failed bending valves and not allowing them to close fully at tdc. BENT THE VALVES with incorrect cam timing, and setting them back to the correct position only made things worse.

    Check your valve lash over your valves one cylinder at a time to see if your valves arent returning to the closed position....youll know if theyre not because the valve clearance will be way out over the bent ones.
