    holy what a noob question

    i should be ashamed but i need help w/ the spark plug socket size....with all my sockets i cant....get it in the hole (WTF) its not a problem w/ them being recessed but i can't find a goddamn socket thin enough to fit in, no parts store seems to want to help!

    Ok sorry for laughing yeah im pretty sure you need a deep 3/8.

      You need a spark plug socket, I'm pretty sure it's 3/8ths.

        seriously 3/8" doesnt' fucking go! i can take pics of this shit, never had a problem w/ my 87 but i can't get the socket in the hole wtf

          u need a specific socket for sparkplugs. thats y ur regular sockets don't work

            haha k guys, im not an asshole im thinking i have a 3/8" spark plug socket
            says "fits all spark plugs with 13/16" hex"

              what you do is, invest in a tool set at the very least. go to sears by one of those cresent wrench sets, or whatever tool set there is out there. i don't know the exact off hand, but trust me, you'll know and you'll see.

              You are gonna need tools anyhow, and so buy it. It's much better and more organized.. Then you move on w/ other tools. Good luck, and remember GAP THEM and NGK VPOWERS

                5/8 spark plug socket 3/8 drive thats what i use got the rubber boot inside the socket to hold the plug

                  fuck all that heres the easier way. get a socket extension a nice longone about the size of your forearm and buy a pen magnet thats liek an tv antenae with the magnet at the end after your winding to take the sparkplug out out the magnet in there and just take it out its that simple .

                      you dont really need anti seize on it you can take a lil bit of motor oil around the threads and itll be just fine been doin it for years never had a problem
