Don't do this, temps will be far to high for any silicone I know of.

I've always had a bung welded on for my widebands but I don't see any reason this wouldn't work as long as the drill bit you use is the correct size.

ive used high temp red on my turbo gaskets and never had any issues. and being that ive used this aem weldless before on customers cars and the ones that i didnt use silicone on leaked.

Liquid copper would be better for your turbo gasket, I really doubt silicone will hold up long at 1500+ degrees.

Depending how far down stream you mount the wideband that red silicone might hold up. Since the aem wideband comes with a bung it would be best to just get it welded IMO.

              This.

I paid $30 to a drunk Russian to weld my secondary o2 bung onto my car... and I think I overpaid!

Sure, that product will work just fine... but I think AEM is taking advantage of lazy people.

lol. more like making lazy people lazier.
seems legit though, if you want to go this route

i assuming this could be for people with metals such as stainless or titanium that nobody in their area could weld

in some places there are no shops that have a tig welder.

Try it and be amazed. Liquid copper is good too but more expensive than red but they both work
