    heater doesn't get hot

My heater barely blows warm. I checked the control valve, heater knob etc, and everything is fine. I even bled the system. The only thing that I noticed is that one of the two hoses going to the firewall is hot and the other one is cold. Has this happened to anyone else? Opinions needed.

Sounds like a blocked heater core...If it is..you need to fix it fast before it pops and leaks coolant into your cabin

I had a feeling it was that. Any way to fix it, or does it have to be replaced?

Thanks, but I have one in my parts car. How hard is it to replace?

u can try flushing it out by taking off both hoses going to the heater core (its easier to disconnect the hose from the pipe underneath the intake maifold and the hose where the control valve is and leave the valve open) then use a garden hose and run water through one hose and out the other and vice versa.
