    Brake problem

Ok I change the brakes. Is not my first time doing it so I knw what I'm doing.
So I did them and now my car stops by itself ,ok is the driver side caliper messed up,so I put another one that I have spare n it's doing the same thing.
Is it the brake hose, I dnt knw what is it any one can help me? Does the lx brake pad is the same as the dx?

Odds are you twisted the brake line when you put it back on. It's very easy to do as it looks like it's not twisted at first glance when you are putting them back on. Then when you hit the brakes, the fluid can't release the brake pad and WALA......automatic brakes.

Provided you have the correct part disc brakes are easy and almost fool proof.

One issue that you may have over looked is that the CB had 2 suppliers of brakes (Nissin and Akebono). The pads are not interchangeable with one another (to my knowledge).

Check whats yours and that its compatible with the pad you fitted. To assist you here is a link and it has pictures!

What are the chance they gave you the wrong brake pads?
