x2. A difficult fix, if you are not sure what to do you may want to seek a professional here. It can be difficult to get to the heater core box to check the lines or replace them. Also if you do replace them upgrade the lines so it never happens again.

To prevent the heat core from leaking into the car any more you could bypass the core all together. My aunt did that herself on her cb. Just loop a long enough piece of hose from the heat core inlet and outlet on the back of the motor. It a temporary fix and you will be without heat for awhile till your able to get the heat core replace. Good Luck!

first make sure the inlet and outlet lines aren't crushed by pliers causing coolant to bypass by them and drip inside. All I had to do was make the metal ports round again and it solved all my problems.
