ported h23 mani vs stock ported mani

i was wondering if the h23 intake mani ported will give me more power than a ported a1 mani or will it give me relitivly the same power gains

the manifold swap is whats going to make the difference, the porting aint going to make that much of a difference on a stock engine

I would port the IM, might as well before it goes on the motor.

what is your power goal? porting isn't really necessary for a couple bolt ons. id rather see a larger tb and port matched.

Honestly, pretty much all the info about getting optimum performance out of an F22 engine is already available online. Just have to know specifically what it is that you are looking for. There are a lot of threads on this forum that reveal what can be gained from bolting stuff on to these engines.

If you want to go further than that it's engine basics 101. All you need to do is read and practice what you read. Not too many people out there are going to spoon feed people. People will only give out so much of what they have compiled while doing their own research. The rest is up to you.

OP, this entire runner porting and runner length topic has been covered in great detail. Choose a power goal and them decide what runner, plenum and throttle body combination works best for your engine build. Because there is more to it than just getting the air to the head!

thats what im trying to say, i dont really know THAT much. i mean...ive been there and done that but it's not like i really hold any secrets for intake manifolds.

for a nitrous build, id honestly look at getting a nicer exhaust setup like a bisi header. you don't really need to do much for nitrous other than a few tuning tricks.
