I turned on my heat last night (11/25) and it worked. Then I turned the car off. I came back a few minutes later and started the car again. The heat didn't work. I didn't work for the next couple of times I was in the car. It finally worked again this morning. What do you guys think this could be? A switch? A fan motor? Something else?

What's up JBauer! How much did it cost you to replace it? I had a shop give me a price and they said the blower was $200 and the labor was $100. Is that a reasonable price? Also how hard was it to do yourself? How long did it take? What tools were needed? etc. Any info would be a big help! Thanks!FSAE(F Series Accord Enthusiasts) "A dying breed..." #15

The part cost me about 90.00. It did take a while because it's kind of hard to get to, but it's not that difficult to figure out. Check out WWW.AUTOZONE.COM and go to the repair guides section, it's kind of vague, but it's what I used. The blower motor bolts into a plastic housing, you just remove the entire housing. On my car, which is a 90 LX, the blower motor is on the far passenger's side, directly under the glove box. E-mail me at TriciaLoves99@aol.com and I can send you some pages from the repair manual. Hope this helps...luck!

Well, there is no need to do a diy. I had the shop fix the heat today. They replaced the blower motor. My parents insisted that I get it fixed. Oh well. They footed the bill so what could I do? I wanted to do it myself but it is probably better this way!FSAE(F Series Accord Enthusiasts) "A dying breed..." #15
