    Axels?

I got two ( pas. Side and driver side) cv axels from a 92 accord AT. I can tell just by looking that the driver side axel is much longer that that of a manual. My question is will the passenger side still fit? They look similar enough but I'm just not positive.

This also got me wondering what else is different between MT and AT?

Looked on google but couldn't find anything specific on it.

Right side ( passenger ) axles are the same on all accords, automatic or manual.

The left ( driver side ) axle is different between automatics and manuals. As you saw the automatic axle is huge. Manuals use a half shaft that extends the output shaft much closer, the manual left axle is much smaller

As far as i know you cannot use an automatic left axle on a manual.

    Also don't forget

if you have ABS you need an axle with a tone ring on it. If you're junkyarding don't forget to check 9091's as well. A lot times although the car doesn't have ABS somewhere along the line the axle was replaced and the replacement has a tone ring.
