    Completed manual to power swap.

I have a 92 DX and I hated having to roll the windows down, especially when someone would pull up next to me on the passenger side. So I took it upon my self to take the challenge and do a complete swap of the manual parts to power. A couple of members have asked me what parts they needed and what exactly needed to be done. So I decided to make a list of the parts needed. I have pictures of my process that I will post later.

But here is what you need, my cb is a 5sp so it will be a little different for auto guys.

This is all you need if you are just doing power windows.

All 4 window regulators and motors.
    Dash harness
    Cabin harness
    Main harness

Now if you want AC add

    AC control
    Heater core
That's it you need the dash harness but since I already added that on top I did not mention it.

    If you want power doors

Gray power door lock control box that is mounted on the driver side door panels.
All 4 door actuators for the lock to move up and down.
All 4 door exterior door handles, its easier just to take the complete door handle from the jy with everything attached.

    If you want cruise control

You need the gray cruise control box that's under the dash.
Cruise control switch that goes on the dash.
Cruise control vacuum thing that's in the engine bay
    Vacuum hoses.

And the most important thing you need is TIME and PATIENCE. This is nor something you can just do on your day off. This takes time and one thing I would recommend is label everything. If you don't you will get lost there is a lot of wires and plugs.

Complete cabin wiring harness for all for doors. Each door has its own individual harness and connects together at the driver side. This is just the cabin harness

The cabin harness goes into the pillards on both sides like this

The harness connects into a green plug, from that plug it connects to the main harness. Like so

The cabin harness also runs through the middle of the car.

Also the cabin harness runs towards the back of the car on both sides. On the right side it runs through the floor and up towards the trunk. It then plugs into the fuel sending unit.

On the left had side it also runs through the floor and into the trunk and connects to two plugs I believe all this wiring is for the brake lights and other electronics in the back.

When removing the dash make sure you unplug these three plugs,

There is also a brown plugs on the driver side that will need to be in plugged to remove the dash with the harness still attached to the dash.

All these items will have to be removed to access the main wiring harness.

You really just need to remove the blower motor and heater core you can leave the middle one, I can't remember the correct name for it right now.

When removing the heater core you must disconnect the two hoses that are in the engine bay and the black wire that goes to the valve.
      These are the two hoses

And here is a close up of the wire that needs to be disconnected

There are a lot of plugs and relays under the dash so I would recomend labeling everything so you know where it goes.

Now this is what the harness looks like on the passenger side before it was removed.

This is what the whole inside looks after the main harness had been removed from the donor car.
        right side

        Middle

        Driver side

As you can see in the picture above you don't really have to take out the ABS system but I did not want mine so I deleted it.

The main harness runs into the engine bay, on the passenger side the harness connects into the fuse box and runs to the passenger head light and turn signals. These plugs are connected to the engine bay fuse box.

This is what the passenger side looks like after removal of the fuse box and harness.

On the driver side same thing the harness runs into the engine bay and there are several plugs that go on this side. The harness connects to the engine harness and also connects to the headlight, turns signals, brake fluid resvoir, AC systems, radiator fan, and cruise control if you want it.

The harness runs rite by the power steering like and will have to be slightly moved to the side to access.

It sounds like you've finished it, but you don't say it implicitly. Is it done?
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!
