I have a 92 DX and I hated having to roll the windows down, especially when someone would pull up next to me on the passenger side. So I took it upon my self to take the challenge and do a complete swap of the manual parts to power. A couple of members have asked me what parts they needed and what exactly needed to be done. So I decided to make a list of the parts needed. I have pictures of my process that I will post later.
But here is what you need, my cb is a 5sp so it will be a little different for auto guys.
This is all you need if you are just doing power windows.
All 4 window regulators and motors.
Dash harness
Cabin harness
Main harness
Now if you want AC add
AC control
Heater core
That's it you need the dash harness but since I already added that on top I did not mention it.
If you want power doors
Gray power door lock control box that is mounted on the driver side door panels.
All 4 door actuators for the lock to move up and down.
All 4 door exterior door handles, its easier just to take the complete door handle from the jy with everything attached.
If you want cruise control
You need the gray cruise control box that's under the dash.
Cruise control switch that goes on the dash.
Cruise control vacuum thing that's in the engine bay
Vacuum hoses.
And the most important thing you need is TIME and PATIENCE. This is nor something you can just do on your day off. This takes time and one thing I would recommend is label everything. If you don't you will get lost there is a lot of wires and plugs.
