i know many have done the other way around. but i have the 5rib crank pulley and the 6rib alternator. i tried is once already... putting the belt on the inside 5 and leaving one blank on the outer edge of the prelude alternator. couple days later found out the belt had jemped to the outside and started rubbing... so i now had a 3rib belt. is it not a good idea to use this combo, or was it a freak incident???
