ok so once i bought my cb7 the truck of the car is very heavy and it doesnt stay up unless you put a pice of wood is holding it up. also the lever that opens the trunk that is in the front of the car next to the gas door open doesnt work. i think theres a spring or somthing missing that holds up the trunk lid open. does anyone know whats wrong with it heres a pic of it.

trunk won't stay up

Check to make sure your trunk springs are still there. Those are the only things that'd hold your trunk up. If your trunk isn't staying up, they're either missing or they're weak.
Judging by your 4 speakers in the rear deck, I'd say whoever did that took the springs out since the springs would have been in the way.

Not with factory springs or a setup similar to the one the factory employed. It seems the original owner (and possibly you also) valued a certain amount of noise over a functional trunk lid.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!
