What does the oil filter screw into?

im picking mine up tomorro from napa. cost me a whole 3 dollars. now i just need to track someone down who has a 30mm socket or a bigass adjustable.

I wouldn't probably do that. I don't think the rings are exact and when you're dealing with oil things can get pretty messy if not done right. Oil always finds a way to leak if things aren't exact. I got mine from Honda for like $7 I think.

Yeah u might be right. When I changed mine I don't remember it being that big but that was a while back so yeah, 30mm is probably correct.

well if you have spent any time in a honda dealership that's what they do when there out of stock on the cooler gasket. the filter gasket is the exact same size and shape as the cooler gasket.

Its factory on all A6 F's. A1's no ..... ( Oil Cooler )

^factory on all automatic F22A6, manuals don't get them. Just wanted to clear that up

F22A4, F22A6 have oil cooler.
F22A1 - no oil cooler!
