Bosch Icon blades or a similiar 1 piece design would be your best bet.

In my opinion the new euro style wiper blades do not have an advantage over our old assemblies (other than the looks)

I can confirm my older style multi pressure point wiper arms wipes as good as if not better than the newer style (as I have little to no streaks, squeaks, un even wiping or lack of downward pressure.

Tip: From experience the most imporant thing to focus and spend money on is the actual insert.

      Get:

      1) ones with metal backing or metal runners on the sides (not plastic)
      2) more reputable brands have good quality rubber (not the cheap unknown variety).
      3) ones with graphite, teflon or silicone if available.

If you have the above (at least the metal back variety) you will not be dissapointed and will be as good or better than the once piece variety.

What counts is what makes contact not the external assembly - so spend on the insert. Put things to perspective top of the line is just 20 to 25 bucks. Dont cheapo out on something that is essentially a safety gear!!

I have always purchased decent high end inserts and they last and last and last (with no streaks, jumps, squeaks etc). No need to buy Honda originals (but if you want to you can)

When they do start to foul:

First - clean them (as debris may be the culprit in streaking).
Secondly - inspect the insert has not slipped or moved out of its place.
Third - use them more (the rubber may have hardened slightly and needs more frequent use to excercise the rubber to make it flexible again) especially if you have not used them for a long time.

I just replaced the garbage aftermarket blades with some OEM Blades and inserts at the dealership where i work. $20...about the same as the aftermarket and they work perfectly, no streaks.

Now that i have the Honda OEM blades i can just get new inserts when these wear out...and with my discount they're like $2. Sounds good to me. I'd rather replace the inserts for cheap than buy new gimmicky blades every few months...

I had one piece blades on mine when I bought it and they sucked. I replaced one with the cheapest Canadian Tire metal one I could get and bought an insert for the metal frame wiper that was sitting in the trunk.

They are do far doing a good job of holding up to the salt spray and snow of an East Coast winter. I have had a couple issues with the insert not sitting quite right in the frame and not maintaining pressure, but a little adjustment was all that was needed.

We sell a few different types at the parts store i work at, I've found the best combo thus far was my OEM honda metals with PIAA Super Silicone inserts, but if you can find Trico blades their metal frames are OEM so you wont have to shell out dealership prices for OEM quality.

If you want teh single piece aka Beam Blades then i recommend the Anco Contours or the Michellin ones, problem is they're spendy and non-servicable

those one pieces suck. THey are very quiet and sheeth well. But when your on the freeway and the wipers are going, the downstroke the wiper lifts. They also dont last that long..maybe a year...where they say they last longer.

I like the bosch ones...I usually wait till I can get the buy one get one free. But its the one that looks like a standard oem one.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
