    Park engine revving; shifter lights

a couple of problems with my 'cord.

    1. after my car has warmed up and in the afternoons/when it's warm out, in park and in neutral, the engine revs to 1500, drops to 1000, then bak to 1500, over and over... (i recently put in the pt6 ecu, exhaust, and shortram, and thats pretty much when it started) I've already reset my ecu to no avail. I also am cleaning out the f22a6 IM that is going on my car soon, so im thinking that that will take care of the problem. I just want some extra input on the situation as I am not quite an expert on cb7's yet.

    2. the lights that mark gears (P, N, D4, D3, 2, 1) on my slushbox center console take a while to light up when my lights are on, often only coming on after the car has been put into drive. whats up with this? (fuse?)

the jumping idle sounds like it may be a PCV valve, and your light problem is probably a loose connection or wire

My gear lights do similiar things, tell me, is your shifter stiff coming out of park? Because this is the reason my lights don't always respond right away, because I need to adjust my shifter cable.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

yeah i highly doubt the idle jumping is from the PCV valve, more like the IACV or the cold idle valve, or you may just have your idle set to high....and the light problem i doubt it is a fuse, if it was fuse the lights wouldnt come on at all, plus there isnt a fuse for those inparticular cluster lights...btui im not surwe waht that is. priblem wise

i have the jumping idle problem sometimes cuz my pcv valve is a piece and it comes undone from the vavle cover about once a week...when it does, the idle jumps from 1000 to about 1500 then back and forth

you should want to replace your fast idle valve controller. and/or check your idle adjustment on your throttle body.
