H22A and F22A AEM cam gears... are they different?

I have a pair of mismatched (one blue one silver) cam gears that were sold to me as H22 gears. I want to make SURE that these are really H22 gears, and not a pair of F22 gears! I don't think the guy I got them from (a member here) ever had them installed, and I don't know how reliable the person HE bought them from was. Can I count the teeth, look for a serial number, or anything to determine what I have? The AEM site no longer lists 3 bolt gears for the H22...

    Both gears have 42 teeth.

They are identical aside from the color. It's the mismatch in color that gets me... I'm wondering WHY they aren't the same color!!! One of them has a gash in the AEM lettering too... Nothing important seems to be damaged, but it seems that maybe something happend. I'm wondering if someone put F22 gears on an H22 and it blew up
