My car had been leaking around the distributor since I got it so not to long ago I replaced my distributor o-ring, cap, rotor, wires, spark plugs. But the distributor is still leaking, not from where the o-ring is at (where the housing connects to the head) but between the cap and the housing come together. does this mean I'm going to have to replace the whole distributor housing? Thanks

here's a diy for replacing the internal seals:

you can't get those seals from honda. they are aftermarket.
did you make sure it wasn't the valvecover gasket seeping oil in that spot as well? later.

Awesome. Thank you man Yeah I made sure the leak wasn't coming from anywhere else. Cool, because I was looking up remanufactured distributors on autozone and napa, then on NAPA I saw they had some stuff called distributor bushings, I'm guessing thats what they are for. Because everyone I've asked has just told me to replace the distributor housing.

if you can't find them at napa, i think there's a link to them in that diy.
mine was leaking also, but i just replaced the housing. I want to say it was about 120-180 from honda. it came with a new ignitor, but no coil. here's the part # to the one i got: 06301-pt3-a10
i know if you replace the entire distributor, it is 300 or so, but don't quote me, lol. later.

There is one gasket on the outside of the distributor and one right on the inside, one of those are leaking just get those replaced if you do it yourself put some gasket sealant to the back side of the dizzy where it goes into the head so it won't leak.
