    car restarts while driving(electrical issue)

Last night i did some maintenance work to my car and i had it on a lift. i changed my oil ,bled all my brakes and changed all my right side wheel studs( dont know if this matters ). i also took out my powersteering pump and painted the pulley and a little bit of fluid got into my alternator. i cleaned it out with wire dryer and went on putting my pump back in. on my way home my h.i.ds started flickering everytime i hit a bump and my radio and dash lights cut off and on. i hit a few soft dip and it did it again but the ignition started chime as if i had restarted the car.this morning i checked all my grounds and shrinkwrapped all my power cables to the battery.i also checked and tightned the battery fuse and it still shuts off.i had the car running and i started smaking and shaking wires to find the problem and nothing seems to be broken. i have an amp in the trunk so im gonna try to see if the power cable is touching but other than that i cant figure this mess out.this just started last night, never had this problem before.

Thats really strange. Sounds like a wire is grounding out somewhere. I dont think you spilling a little fluid on alt would cause this. Recheck all grounds for loose connection. I had the ground from battery to side wall come loose an car diid same stuff.

yeah i found it. it was the ground that connects to the powersteering bracket and valve cover.
