    Is this correct?

Hello. i was hoping you guys can help me out and verify if I placed the spark plug wires in the correct connections on the distributor cap.
    sorry for the big pictures

According to the pictures on this thread ( http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...lug+wire+order ) I have it incorrect. But i think that diagram is off like a CD5.

Oh, and I accidently started the car without connecting two of the wires to the cap. It was scary . Would that really harm my engine?

Thank you for all and any help.

have you started your car to see if it'll run in that order?

cd5 4 cylinder is same motor as cb7 4 cylinder if its non vtec

Your good, same as mine. And you will be fine, as long as you didn't drive around like that.

a good way to remember is just remeber the firing order and then the dizzy spins toward the front of the car hense 1,3,4,2.

Those are correct. If you have them on wrong you will probably be ok (not damage the engine) but the engine will run like junk if at all. But those wires are correct.

                reread your post.

won't harm your engine, but might harm your distributor.

the 20,000 volts wants to go someplace and if you don't give it a nice place to go it might pick its own place to arc within the distributor.

this is a possibility, not a certainty. So I'm guessing you're fine. Or you're not. but it would not create a problem in the engine.
