    Car dies when I stop

My car quit running so yesterday I put a new fuelpump in. I put 4 gallons of gas in the tank. It was perfect for about 10 miles. Then it started dieing when I stop. It starts back up every time.
    Any ideas?
I think what might of happed was there is a like a tank in the fuel tank that the pump sits in kinda like a baffle and I was thinking I might have bent the sending unit and the pump is not is it so when I stop all of the gas goes forward and the pump sucks some air.
But I dont want to drop the tank Aegean.

Ok whatever I am going to drop the tank.

So I have the tank back in and everything is good. Now I drove it and its fine when the engine is cold but when it worms up it will sometimes die when I stop.
Its a 91 se. What could it be

Tune up? Vacuum leak? Loose connection? Fuel filter? Could be alot of things. I never had this problem personally but its just a matter of testing.

I did a tune up and I Doubt I have a fuel leak and I have a brand new fuel filter and I changed the harness. ( trying to fix it)

I just found one Vacuum line unplugged. Would that cause it?

Well I just drove it and it still dies.

Did you use another ebay pump . . .
This is probably still the same issue as your other thread - You know, the one when you had no spark, but had spark; and where you had fuel, but no fuel . . .

As I said in the other thread, If you really want help, you need to be more descriptive and actually tell people what you have changed (And CONFIRMED that the changed part IS actually good)

For example - You changed the main relay with what?
A brand new one? I doubt it
A junkyard one that is probably as old as your one and has never been repaired?

No. I got 2 junk yard pumps and I tested them both. I put them in a gas bucket and hooked wires up to them they both pumped like hell so I put the quiter one in.
I had another main relay laying around.

Seriously, Didn't we go through this in your other thread?
You can't say you tested the pump without testing it properly, (Just like your other thread)
Have you checked your main relay?

It was doing the same thing with my old ebay fuel pump. I put another fuel pump and it still does the same thing.
I doubt they are both bad.

Have you confirmed your getting fuel to the rail, also what's your fpr reading? And have you confirmed this is a fuel issue not a spark issue? Could also be a bad alternator, can you confirm the voltage while its running? Maybe even checking your battery terminals and the terminals themselves for corrosion.

I am getting pressure to the rail. I have 32 psi and I have a new filter.
The alternator must be working because I put a dead battery in and it charged it.
                          terminals dont have any corrosion.
I dont have the terminals tight but they are pushed on there snug I should tighten them shouldn't I Ill go do that

damn sounds like you got some nasty gremlins attacking your car. I would suggest the alternator, and or power connections because its doing it when you stop, and because your getting full pressure while its running. Also run your hands over and around all the spark wires and dizzy to see if you have any cracks in the wires. Don't worry you won't get shocked unless there are cracks, and if you do get shocked, it's not that bad. And as far as the wires being too long that usually only applies to the ground, but you also don't want a crazy amount of positive wire also. It would usually only apply to a battery relocation, and even then it's only going to a bigger wire that's needed.

I have put a new dizzy , plugs and wires in to try to fix it. I just cleaned and tightened the battery cables and it still does it.
