so i just put in the a6 motor into my dx. i went to turn it on and it flipped. the key got stuck in the ignition and the bitch hit rev limiter like 4 time in 10 secs.
now i dint hook up the headers and i dint have my air filter hooked up. also the line from the throttle body, to the carbon canister wasnt hooked up, and i my air idle valve was loose( well the second next to the egr valve)also i dint have my o2 sensor hooke up( no down pipe) could any of these be the cause, or maybe a loose intake plenum? watcha think.
see i think its stuck at wide open throttle cus i noe the rev limiter was knocking it down to around 1-g rpm, but then it'll surge upto 6-7g and hit limiter and go back down. it did it all the time the key was stuck. and my butterflies were closed so it was getting air from somewhere else. right, from where? loose intake plenum or the hose to the carbon canister or that little valve?
