    slave cylinder issues.

Ok I have a 91 ex just replaced the clutch. And I think I might need a new slave cylinder. Because it feels like I have no clutch pedal. And the slave cylinder rod is not moving at all. But besides that fact. The transmission fork feels a little loose/wobly. Is this normal. Or should it be tight.

Did you/do you know how to bleed the clutch properly?

Sounds like u may have air in ur lines

Yes I know how to bleed the clutch. But my question is that whenever my slave cylinder is off. My clutch fork is just a little wobly/loose. IS that normal. Cause my slave cylinder is shot. So i'm picking another one up today.

Thats what I wanted to know. I started to bleed my clutch though and still no pedal at all. And the slave cylinder don't move at all. But when I was changing the clutch. The rod fell out of the slave so it's definetel broke so i'm going to pick up a new one.

My slave is leakin some, if I get on it hard, when I put the clutch in I hear a tick comin from the fork/slave area. Kinda annoyin, then it goes away. I no u can buy a rebuild kit, its the rod and rubber. But shit I don't no if they sell it for a cb, just get a brand new for 22 beans in the parts store. Good lucl friend.

22 beans lol I only had to pay 12 yay me. And Is there a specific way to bleed our slaves. I tried the pump three times then hold and open the bleeder. Didn't work. My pedal just sticks to the floor. My slave cylinder doesn't move a bit. And also does anyone know where the speed sensor plugs in. I can't find the plug in.

Dam I gotta find for a cheaper price then.

Get a buddy, open bleeder screw, have buddy pump, when u see fluid going down pour more in, don't let it get dry...

Watch the bleeder for a constant flow of fluid, keep an eye on that resivor, when the clutch gets stiff, have him hold it in, tighten bleeder.

                Done.

You have to keep pumping it for many many and many of those cycles before you get pressure. It does take a long while. A lot longer than bleeding brakes. The slave cylinder isn't going to move until you get pressure.

I've been through this with mine going out on me. When it happens you loose all of your fluid in the reservor rapidly.

The rod on the end falls out on all slave cylinders if you pull on it. It's normal. To bleed it, you need 2 guys. One guy to pump 3 times and hold, another guy to open the bleeder and close it. You will need to pull the pedal back up by hand and do it over again until you get pressure and see no more air bubbles in the line. Make sure you check the reservoir often as it's very easy for it to go empty. Hell, if you have 3 guys, one guy can stand by and keep topping up the fluid.

I tried bleeding my clutch system by myself like I do with the brakes but I couldn't get rid of all the air until I had someone help me.

                        What do you mean?
Did you pull the pins out, or did you pull the wires out of the pins?
If you pulled the wires out of the pins you are better to get a new plug from the junkyard and solder it up.

^^^^^This is correct. I bled mine by myself using my stearing wheel club wedged between the seat and the peddle to hold it down between bleeds. It worked enough that I could drive home, but what a pain.
