a/c trouble turns on and off

a/c turns on but after a while it shuts off i can see when the clutch is spinning and when it stops spinning what can be the problem?

Time for a recharge? Having the clutch cycle on and off is usually an indication of not enough refridgerant in the system.

i recently just refilled it 3 cans good?

3 cans is TOO much!!!!!!!! It should only have 2 in the whole system. There is a switch in the line called the hplp switch and that means high pressure low pressure and its more them likely shutting it off because the pressure got to high. GET A GAUGE!!!!
