    Dual-Tip EX/SE muffler ?

whats up guys im tired of my loud ass "jvt racing exhaust"(2.5) really just got it for fresh piping, i have a header n two resonaters. i wanted to get a magna flow muffler but im told it will still be loud. so i was thinking of getting an oem EX/SE dual tip muffler and weld it on. any one done this before or has any idea how it will sound?
    thanks

quiet till around 3500 maybe a little sooner depending on your throttle, then it gets raspy. I had 2.25 piping with a resonator and hi flow cat on my old car with a stock ex muffler. If your cruising you cant really tell till you get on it. But most of your sound comes from your resonator.

My old, stock EX exhaust wasnt loud. At all. Ever. An OEM muffler should cut any exhaust noise in half, if not make it almost non-existent.

look into a 06' SI stock muffler . i have almost the same set up as the OP has , i like my magna flow set up , but kinda miss the quite sound of a OEM muffler.most exhaust shops will have the old factory dual tip muffler for our cb7's . If i remember correctly it was kinda expensive for a OEM part.

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

so would it sound really quiet even with 2.5piping and resonator cut out?

A stock muffler would create quite a restriction... though it would keep it quiet.

on my friends gsr a dynomax muffler plus resonator will barley be loud. the intake is louder
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

i Picked up an OEM replacement (exhaust) Belly to the flange for 65$ at an Muffler depot i happen to come across.

Didnt have to weld or anything. Just bolt up.

Mynes just came with the single tip though

would of liked the daul tip but for 65$ i wasnt complaining
