Since both your oil pan gasket and somewhere near the oil filter is leaking, is something (perhaps turbo system triggered) causing the oil pressure to raise and find it's way out of whatever it can first (i.e. oil pan gasket, oil filter)?

nope...oil pan gasket was shot, fell apart when i removed it...so it was do time for that.
for the lil leak around the filter its starting to go away.
i think it was one of those.... (car speaking) i need a damn oil change u ass hole.....type things.
i did put off changing the oil for like 4 to almost 5 months, it started doing this like 3-1 month ago, filter could have been over used.
once the filter has been used pass its life time it is bypassed.
so ill see how it acts in 2-3 more days.

word!! lol not.. id suggest some rtv sealant if all else fails.. remove the filter.. put a small amoutn around the rim of the filter and install the filter again.. then run a ring around the mating service between the filter/block.. and seal it up good.. see if it holds up.. maybe its just the threading thats letting it leak down?

when u do an oil change u should clean of surounding area and check to see if gasket is on the filter when u take the old filter off might have some gasket around it so clean it off with a rag then apply on new filter some oil around the gasket then install new filter hand tight not with any tool just hand tight ,start car check for leaks

wasnt hard at all.....i dont know exactly everything u would have to remove ( i think i have to remove the bottom part of the header, not sure, maybe some one knows)
but sense i dont have an exhaust system at the moment all i had to do was drop the oil pan, u have to remove the flywheel cover first that right on side of the oil pan.
its simple, just unscrew 10m bolts.

took no more then 10 mins.
but that was without having to remove a lot of stuff cause i already didnt have them there.

but i think u have to remove the cross member and bottom header section.
                      i rate it a 1-10 (10 hardest) 3or4
