Hey guys, I have a 1992 LX wagon 5MT. The car has 283,000 miles and nothing has been rebuilt, nor does it need to be.
I do have a couple questions, though. I have a pretty bad oil leak that I thought I fixed when I replaced my distributor o-ring. I'm thinking that I should just do a full seal refresh on the motor. I was wondering if someone might help me figure out any fluid seals that I could replace.
Second, since I changed my clutch my car has been shuddering after medium to long drives when I engage my clutch. I'm nearly positive that it's my motor mounts that I had to remove in order to drop the trans. What do you think? Furthermore, are there any preferred places to purchase motor mount inserts? Mine are pretty cracked and distressed after so many miles.
I know my car has got a lot of miles, but I plan on driving this car until the wheels to turn anymore. I just want to be good to her because of how good she's been to me. And, honestly, she turns over every time I just touch the key, even in the dead of winter. The interior is basically brand new, although the paint could use some work...
Well, I'm at Discount Tire right now getting new tires for her. I went with Pirelli P4's in 195/60R15. Thanks so much! You guys rock here =D
