When I'm going uphill and at a RPM 2000-3000, I hear a hissing-type noise. When I'm just driving down a flat street, nothing. I figure its some kind of intake/vaccum noise, but I have no idea. Anyone know what it might be?

do you have an aftermarket intake or a cone filter in place of the air box...What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

It's not a whine. It's a fluttering, hissing noise. It's definately noise caused by moving air. And I have a short ram intake with cone filter.

If it was a whistle sound its just an intake noise.
But if its fluttering it can be an exhaust leakWhat makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
