Fluctuation in Temp gauge

When i went to do test for TPS i unpluged the cable by the driver upper shock mount. I didn't realize the car was on when i plug back in.

The car won't start. I blew a fuse.

everything is working now except my temp gauge.

car been sitting over a week. put the key in and it went to H then L then H and Middle


Did i kill temp sensor? or my gauge is busted?


it was working fine before i did TPS adjustment

so when your driving normally after 10 minutes, what does the temp gauge show?

still on high


I disconnect single wire on the head for Coolant Temp Sensor i think

and my gauge is at C when i plug it back in it went back on H


bad sensor? or gauge issue
