I get around 26 mpg with my H. Once the stations switch to summer blend and it warms up I expect around 28-30.

I had a friend get 30 one time, but most of the people I know get around 20-24 driving lightly. Tuning drastically helps the MPG on those engines from what I have googled recently.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I'm running a P06 with a great basemap. I have also read a tuned ECU helps, and I believe it!

I only had my H22 for about 2 months in the winter before I got tboned, so I dont have enough experience to add accurate input although I record mpg religiously. My h22 was paired with a f22 trans as well. I filled premium as well.

After I dropped the engine in, I drove around town for half a tank and then moved. 1st hwy trips were at ~32mpg. In canada, I would get 25 mpg around town. Its decent considering I liked hearing vtec, but I didnt beat on it. Im sure if it was in the states it wouldve been 1-2mpg higher. Also, this is the winter, so I imagine it wouldve been a lot higher in the summer.

Thanks guys! I always wondered about the advantages of the h22. If mpg is almost the same as the f22 then I think h22 is worth it.

It is! As long as you can stay out of vtec.
