turn car off, battery is dead, wont start unless jumped, why?

so my civic, well I have had this problem.

New battery, new alternator, still does it

basically if i drive around, all is fine, as soon as i stop the car and shut the car off and try to restart it, the battery will be dead. all connections are tight, and I looked into it and can't figure it out. what would it be?

i had autozone check the battery and alt and they said it was fine. as they are brand new.

it's confusing as hell, i have not changed anything in the car either.

Do your lights turn on? Any instrument panel lights on?

correct everything is dead. headlights hardly work, lights dim, its messed up. I can remove the battery and the car stays on and doesnt die, so the alt is working, but the battery isnt being charged, so whats the deal!?

I remember my friend had something like this happen to his civic. He said there was something in the fuse box that has connection to the alt. I think it was a fuse or relay. Honda only sells it and it can't be purchased as aftermarket.

Not much help but good luck wayne

do a voltage drop test on your wiring.

the load regulator? I already replaced that awhile ago. a CEL comes on when that goes.

Could it be bad grounds on my car??? I just got a sweet battery jumpstart pack from harbor freight for 40
