I would spend your money elsewhere to be honest. Intake, header,exhaust, etc. etc. Make sure the motor is in good healthy condition, after that go with your basic bolt ons, and then go from there.

All methanol injection does is combat detonation.


Put it this way... if you don't know what a part does, YOU DO NOT NEED IT. Or, more specifically... if you don't know what a part does, learn more about it, then decide if you need it.

what the last two guys said,

basically if you have a high boost turbo or supercharger setup the air going into the engine gets very hot. The water/meth injection is used to cool the air, cool the combustion chamber, and prevent detonation.
