bad cv axle?

i lifted my car yesterday and put it on drive and had someone accelerate it, i put a brush against the tire to clean the dirt off it and the wheel stoped then i notice i was able to stop it with my hand. only happens on the driver side not the passanger. and another weired thing is when it was about to stop the wheel it would go the opposite way for a sec
doesn't seem normal to me is there something wrong with the cv or is that normal

when both wheels are off the ground that is normal. with the car off you can turn one tire to forward and the other will go in reverse.

that's normal for an open differential transmission a limited slip transmission would have both wheels spinning in the same direction

that is an important factor. i forgot to ask op if they have a lsd

no its not lsd

i just found it weird that i was able to stop the wheel while it was accelerating but once i let go of the wheel it go again but slow

One wheel wonder. That's why I get stuck in the snow all the time. No problems man, it's normal.

Did you happen to watch the other wheel to see if it started turning when you stopped it? I've noticed with my non lsd that if I wiggle the steering wheel a little during tire spin, I can get it to alternate drive sides.
